"We had our house insulated recently and the difference is honestly amazing. Before, it used to take forever to warm the house up, we’d got to the point where we were even talking about selling because it was just that cold. Now it’s so warm and cosy, it’s a massive change..."

Common Questions
Clear answers to help you understand the process and what to expect.
Yes, when designed and installed properly, wall soundproofing can make a significant difference. The level of improvement depends on the type of noise, the existing construction and whether sound is also travelling through other parts of the room.
Wall soundproofing is mainly designed to reduce airborne noise such as voices, TV and music coming through adjoining walls. In some cases it can also help reduce certain types of impact-related noise, depending on how the sound is travelling through the structure.
Yes, but the party wall is not always the only issue. In older homes, noise can also travel through flanking paths such as adjoining walls, floors, ceilings and other junctions. That is why we take a more complete approach and assess how sound is moving through the room before recommending the right system.
The amount of space needed depends on the system and level of performance required. Slimmer systems can start at around 50mm, while higher-performance systems can take up around 100mm to 170mm.
